Teaching kids to see a need and respond with compassion is a huge task for the church today. We live in a media rich environment that flaunts self-satisfaction at all costs. We don't want any measure of discomfort, and it's much easier to enlist response to a need if there's something in it for us.So what are children's leaders and parents to do? How do we effectively plant seeds of compassion into the lives of children in a way that bear fruit that lasts a lifetime and makes a difference.
Join Children's Missionary, Jay Risner, and the National Children's Missions Director, David Boyd as we discuss the best ways to plant the seeds of compassion live on MinistryDirect.com. During this 45 minute session you'll have a chance to send in your questions and hear a live response from two veterans who have successfully impacted thousands of children all over the world.
Join the session on Wednesday, October 19th at 2:00 PM (Central Time) at www.ministrydirect.com/live. Submit your questions to:
